Jonathan Berkowitz, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Statistics)

Dr. Berkowitz has his doctorate in Statistics. He brings a strong academic background and a number of years of consulting experience to his work with CS/RESORS.

Dr. Berkowitz has been operating his own consulting firm for seven years. He provides to his clients a complete range of statistical research and analysis service -- from research design through data entry, analysis, and report writing or support of report writing. CS/RESORS Consulting calls upon him for those projects that require his very sophisticated analytical skills. In these cases he serves as an expert consultant to the team, to assure that the particular needs of the client are met.

Along with his consulting, Dr. Berkowitz is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. In addition, he is a Faculty Associate with the UBC Institute of Health Promotion Research.

The subject matter of Dr. Berkowitz' consulting and research is broad -- from child care, to predicting the after-effects of sexual assault, to post-Caesarean section analgesia. His expertise in statistics, as well as his familiarity with the programming issues with which we deal make him an invaluable member of the CS/RESORS Consulting team.
