Jonathan Kinney, M. Public Admin. (U. of Victoria)

Jonathan Kinney has been working continuously with CS/RESORS for the last four years and has been a private consultant for eight years. Prior to this, he was employed as a field officer with the Community Futures Branch of Western Economic Diversification. His advanced degree and his governmental experience brings to our team a strong understanding of the workings of non-profit agencies and of community economic development.

Jonathan works with us on the full range of our projects, whether these are evaluations of employability programming, or of local community economic development programs, or programs designed to strengthen the social capacity of vulnerable single mothers and their children. He is an excellent, empathetic field researcher and an expert in financial analysis and the use of spreadsheets and other software in our data analysis and reporting activities.

Jonathan also has a very high level of expertise in web-development and electronic data management systems. He thus brings to our team a set of skills that meet a very wide range of the methodologies that are most suitable to our varied projects. He keeps us at the forefront of web-based technologies as they apply to many of our studies. Jonathan is also an experienced strategic planner, to which he also brings his considerable interpersonal skills. These skills are invaluable for ensuring that all of our teams work effectively with client groups and their communities.
